BIOLAN HEALTH has completed the validation of its new COVID-19 IgG/IgM Rapid Test Cassette , the Test allows to detect quickly, easily and accurately, antibodies against SARS-CoV-2 in people who are or have been infected by the virus that causes COVID-19.

The validation of the test has been successful and confirms a sensitivity of 96% and a specificity of 93%, which reaffirms the interesting specifications of a test that in just over 5 minutes gives a reliable result.

It should be noted that this BIOLAN HEALTH serological test has an important differentiation that and it allows the detection of IgG and IgM antibodies that are directed against the receptor binding region (RBD) of the SARS-CoV2 Spike-1protein, responsible for the entry of the virus into the cell, therefore, have the potential to be neutralising against SARS-CoV-2.
